Q. How do bands get on the show?
​A. Anyone can submit a band here. Additionally, staff members actively look for new bands all the time. Once submitted and reviewed (by the staff and A&R Members) selected bands are invited and scheduled for the live webcasts.

Q. How are songs picked for the show?​
A. Bands scheduled to be on the show submit three of their songs for our selection. Our A&R Members have one week to vote on which of those three songs should be recorded on the show.  Our Head of A&R announces the winning song to the crew, the band, our members and our audience moments after the live webcast begins.

Q. How much time do bands get in the studio?​
A. Our bands have two hours to load into the studio and get ready.  Then the live stream recording session begins and a two hour countdown is launched.  The bands have two hours to complete the recording of the selected song.  This includes: the basic tracks, the overdubs and ear candy. When the two hour countdown clock expires, the live stream recording session is over and the band is finished.  A 2 hour "mix down" session happens later, usually the following day.  This "mix down" session is also live streamed for our subscribing members.

Q. What happens to the song when it's finished?​
A. The final version of the song is posted on our website for all to hear (listen now).  The multi-track recording created during the live stream recording session is given to the band along with 100% of the rights to the new recording.  They decide if they want to put more work into the project and they can release the recording as their own with no restrictions from The Recording Artist.

Q. Which Membership should I buy?
A. If you only want to watch, select a Basic Membership. If you want to chat with the bands during the sessions and vote on which songs are going to get recorded, select an A&R Membership.  Read more about our memberships on the MEMBERSHIP DESCRIPTIONS page.

A.
