TECH UPDATE

After two years of not doing the live weekly webcasts, some things in the tech world have changed. I've reassembled our camera and network systems and have run multiple tests with all the cameras and "stuff" we use on the show. Currently, everything is fairly robust with one exception. Small stutters in all of our MEVO cameras. Most people wouldn't notice them and certainly wouldn't be bothered by them in a live online experience, but since this footage is also used for the TV show, its important that this issue is resolved before we start going live again.

Now for you techies - over the last two years, MEVO (the brand of 4 of our 7 cameras) is no longer affiliated with Vimeo's LIVESTREAM STUDIO broadcast camera switcher (the software that Brian runs during the webcasts). So I am either going to replace the MEVOs with new cameras, switch to a different broadcast software or find a solution to get the two brands talking to each other like they used to (neither company is offering tech support on this Issue).

I think I may have found a solution yesterday. I'll be trying to implement it this week. Once resolved, we'll start focusing on getting our bands lined up for the new season.
